THE LAND
The Madison Valley is a true gem of the American West. With its expansive valleys, sweeping benches, and cottonwood-lined streams, the mountains surround us, providing crystal-clear water from forested, snow-capped peaks. This valley is teeming with wildlife, offering the rare opportunity to encounter the same diverse species that Lewis and Clark observed during their expedition.
Our ranch is located in the South Meadow Creek drainage, nestled in the northwest corner of the Madison Valley. The land we steward encompasses a rich variety of ecosystems, including wetlands, streams, sagebrush landscapes, bunchgrass prairies, and conifer forests. This area is home to an incredible array of wildlife, such as antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, elk, upland birds, songbirds, waterfowl, sandhill cranes, and even large predators.
With each passing year, our regenerative practices continue to bring more life and biodiversity to the land in ways we could never have imagined. We are excited to see what the future holds as we work to heal and restore this extraordinary landscape!

THE TEAM
Sacred Pine is a family operated ranch.
The Farquhar family assumed stewardship of the ranch in 2021 and have since dedicated themselves to implementing regenerative practices that nurture both the land and their well-being. Scott and Tina live on the ranch year-round, where they enjoy horseback riding, sharing meals with neighbors, and creating stunning works of art that celebrate the beauty of the land and Western culture. Their children visit or reside on the ranch throughout the year, contributing to the regenerative efforts and embracing the wonder of life in the West.
The Cordeiro family became part of the ranch's stewardship in 2024. Adam, a fifth-generation Montanan, and Bry, who serves the community at the local medical center, share a deep connection to the land. They have two young children, a toddler and an infant. As a family, they enjoy camping, rock climbing, gardening, hunting, and caring for the livestock!
We are committed to supporting the next generation of stewards and are excited to launch our summer regenerative agriculture internship in 2025. Stay tuned to meet the newest member of Team Sacred Pine!
βThe soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.β
